The Invasion of the Home Networks!
Cisco is a powerhouse in enterprise networking, but was virtually unknown to consumers. When Cisco acquired Linksys’s family of home networking gear, they asked me to help promote the "new Cisco."
Research revealed high consumer fear of home networks. I wrote and produced a video spoofing those fears—along with 20 confidence-boosting blogs and a holiday promo offering big savings. A sales kit helped bring Cisco reps on board.
Results: The blog campaign achieved a phenomenal 39% click-through and 14% conversion, and sales of Cisco's home routers jumped 20%.
